Terms & Conditions.
The purchase of your travel booking constitutes a contractual agreement between traveler(s), (collectively as "You" and "Traveler") and Cheryl Faux, an affiliate of Fora ("Independent Travel Advisor, Cheryl Faux," "We," "Us"), subject to the following terms and conditions ("Terms," "Agreement"):
Role of Independent Travel Advisor
Cheryl Faux, an affiliate of Fora, acts solely as an independent travel advisor. We facilitate the sale of various travel-related services on behalf of multiple suppliers and service providers, including but not limited to airlines, cruise lines, hotels, and local operators. We do not own, operate, manage, or control these independent suppliers and are not liable for their actions or omissions. Your legal recourse in case of issues lies with the specific provider, not with Independent Travel Advisor, Cheryl Faux.
Our responsibilities are limited to making travel recommendations, booking arrangements on your behalf, and arranging contracts between you and the service providers. We do not guarantee the quality or availability of services provided by these suppliers, and all bookings are subject to the terms and conditions set by them.

Service Fees, Deposits, and Payments
Service providers may require a deposit, which is non-refundable. Final payment must be made according to the schedule set by the supplier. Some services, including certain airfares, must be paid in full at the time of booking. We accept payments via debit or credit cards. To process credit card payments, you may need to sign a credit card authorization form included with your receipt.
For multi-city itineraries, a non-refundable consulting fee of $250 per person may be required to initiate the planning process. This fee must be paid within 15 days of your initial discovery call.
Credit Card Transactions
If any service provider fails to deliver the services you’ve contracted, your remedy lies with the provider, not with Independent Travel Advisor, Cheryl Faux. If payment has been made to us by credit card, you agree not to request a chargeback from us.
If the credit card payment is passed directly to the service provider and you seek a chargeback, you agree to indemnify us against any liabilities, including costs such as air debit memos. Should we incur costs, including attorney fees, to recover payments charged back by your credit card company, you will be liable for those costs. If your credit card is declined, you agree to settle any outstanding amounts immediately via alternative payment methods.
Cancellation Policies
Most travel bookings are non-refundable, and cancellations may incur charges up to 100% of the booking cost. As the Traveler, you are responsible for reading and understanding the cancellation policy as presented in your quote, proposal, and communications.
Pricing and Important Conditions
Prices are subject to increase before full payment is made. Once full payment is made, prices will not increase, except for charges resulting from government-imposed taxes or fees. By proceeding with the payment or using our services, you acknowledge your acceptance of these conditions.
Travel Protection
We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation and travel accident insurance. Independent Travel Advisor, Cheryl Faux, does not act as an insurance provider and is not responsible for the submission or payment of insurance claims. Any claims must be handled directly with the insurance company.
Additional Fees
Additional taxes and surcharges may be applied locally by service providers such as hotels and car rental agencies. Most properties and vehicle rental companies require a credit card imprint at check-in.
Travel Documents
Travel documents, including airline tickets and hotel vouchers, are subject to conditions such as non-refundability and change fees. These documents are non-transferable, and any errors in names, dates, or timings are your responsibility if not corrected at the time of booking. Reconfirm your flights at least 24 hours before departure.
Passports and Visas
All travelers departing from the United States must have a valid passport with at least six months' validity beyond their travel dates. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary travel documentation, including visas, as required by destination authorities. Any fines or penalties incurred due to insufficient documentation will be your responsibility.
REAL ID Compliance
Starting May 3, 2023, if you plan to fly within the U.S. using a state-issued ID, ensure it is REAL ID compliant. For more information, visit tsa.gov/real-id.
Health and Special Requirements
It is your responsibility to be aware of and comply with health requirements, including vaccinations and travel restrictions, applicable to your destination. Independent Travel Advisor, Cheryl Faux, is not responsible for providing this information. Travel carriers and local authorities may require specific testing, including temperature checks, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Liability and Responsibility
Independent Travel Advisor, Cheryl Faux, is not liable for any negligent acts or omissions by third-party service providers. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of services by these providers, including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, civil unrest, strikes, or other force majeure events. It is your responsibility to check the USA Government Travel advisories for your destination at travel.state.gov. If additional nights are required due to uncontrollable factors like weather or flight schedules, you will be responsible for additional costs. Baggage is at the owner’s risk throughout the travel period.
